PEACEABLE PARADOX: views of China    This set of images was created from a photographic journey in China which followed our interests, intuition and senses. The scale is individual; the style is observational; the content is personal, often coincidental. In our color palette we push the monochromatic remembrance of the environment we experienced. The diptych format was chosen to emphasize competing, contrasting, and complimentary views of a society in transition, yet one with deep roots. Our goal is to convey timelessness amidst tension .
